Where is the best place for my newborn to sleep?

Being that we will be moving cross-country when he is 3 months old, we want to wait on buying a crib until then. Space is limited, the baby will be sharing a room with us until after the move. What will be best for the baby to sleep in for the first 3months? A bassinet, a pack&play, rock&play sleeper, glider, a vibrating chair? Any mom’s with suggestions please help?

A bedside crib or arms reach co-sleeper is the best idea. You can put it next to your bed and move it to the nursery later when you move if you want to. The bassinet feature can be used as a changing table too.

Bassinets, cradles and moses baskets only last until baby is 4 months then you have to find another place for baby to sleep. Bedside cribs last longer and they also double as a portable crib and a play yard later on when your baby has out grown sleeping in them – it’s a great investment.
